Surveillence

Sattellite serveillence. I can remember when the technology became available so we could type in an address and see soneones back yard. Then Google Earth gave us yet another anvancement. Now, with yet more advancement (and done connections) I can set and watch and record live video of a house. It’s mindblowing. Now, if only I could get a laser! LOL
I Have A New iPhone!
Yep! I have a new iPhone. It’s the 8 Gig. I love it as much as my first - maybe more. New things are always nice. I think the camera may be a little nicer too. I’ve run some tests, and I don’t see a lot of difference in the speed on the Internet except in 3g areas.
The iPhone has helped me a lot in my work. I can access customer sites and work on them - granted, not like on a laptop, but it still lets me do some things. I can even reboot servers.
Speaking of servers, I’m working on converting to Green Hosting. I’m excited about that as I believe we should be doing more to preserve our world.

This is kinda cool. I am hopping the PSTCC and UT have this for spring. I’d love to take it and learn to develop aps for the iPhone. I’ve got a number in mind.

New Google / t-mobile Phone

The first Google Android phone was announced today with t-mobile. There have been many attempts to come up with a cell phone that rivals the iPhone. Spint has one (Who would ever use Sprint?), Verizon has one (Their network really is the best) and even ATT has other phones. But so far no one has even come close. However, I think the new Google/t-moble G1 comes the closest any phone has to rivaling the iPhone. It’s the only one that has the features. The only one that has ability to have applications. That’s what I like, the fact it is open source. I think that eventually, there will be an Android phone that rivals the iPhone, but just not yet - close though. I will admit it has tempted me to switch to t-mobile as they have recently come into my market. more info at: http://www.t-mobileg1.com
