The first Google Android phone was announced today with t-mobile. There have been many attempts to come up with a cell phone that rivals the iPhone. Spint has one (Who would ever use Sprint?), Verizon has one (Their network really is the best) and even ATT has other phones. But so far no one has even come close. However, I think the new Google/t-moble G1 comes the closest any phone has to rivaling the iPhone. It’s the only one that has the features. The only one that has ability to have applications. That’s what I like, the fact it is open source. I think that eventually, there will be an Android phone that rivals the iPhone, but just not yet - close though.
